A LITTLE RHYTHM GOES A LONG WAY
Make the sky look easy.
Cloud Pilot asks you to do one thing well: balance short climbs with controlled descents. The helicopter keeps moving, so a small correction made early beats a big correction made late.
New to the controls? A wider canyon gives you room to experiment.
Try Zen flight →One control. Two directions.
Hold Space or ↑ on a keyboard to rise. Release to descend. On a touchscreen, hold the flight area or the large lift button below it. A mouse works the same way.
The three-second preparation screen gives you time to put your hands in place. Physics and scoring wait until the countdown finishes. You can hold the lift control before the handoff.
Read the next obstacle.
- Stone arches: line up the opening before you reach it.
- Floating islands: choose above or below, then leave space for your tail and skids.
- Hanging boulders: glide underneath the stone and its vine.
- Moving passages: follow the opening with small corrections. Its movement pauses with your flight.
There is no single tapping rhythm for every stretch. Let the shape of the route set your timing.
Rings reward a tidy line.
A ring starts at 25 points. Collect consecutive rings to build a chain, with bonuses reaching 45 per ring. Missing one resets that chain.
A risky ring can cost the whole run in Classic. If you enter an opening too high or low, recover your line first. The better long-term habit is surviving the gap, then improving the ring route on another flight.
Pick the right kind of flight.
Classic is a distance-and-score run through the canyon. Daily drop gives everyone the same dated route. Zen flight is slower and wider, with gentler moving passages; cliffs and obstacles still end the flight. All modes have six levels; every 200 metres increases the challenge.
Paint unlocks change the look of your helicopter, never its handling. Collected rings build your hangar across flights on this site.
Pause without losing your rhythm.
Use P or the Pause button. The game also pauses when the tab loses focus or becomes hidden. With browser storage available, a reload can restore your flight. Resuming an action run gives you another preparation countdown.
A saved flight from before the obstacle update can finish on its original course. Choose “Try the new sky” to start the new route instead. Your paints, collected rings and earlier records stay yours.
A daily route changes at midnight UTC. An expired daily run gives way to the new day's route. Your saved data belongs to this website in this browser; it does not silently move to another domain.
